Should take them out of the QB market
This is big news for the Dolphins in the first round of the draft. One less team ahead of us that will be looking for a QB
Flacco is in his 30s. This doesn’t preclude them from drafting a QB. It just gives them the flexibility to wait if needed.
Cant imagine they will trade for flacco AND draft qb?
I wouldn’t mind Keenum coming here.
That would be smart depending what they gave up for Flacco. Flacco will be 34 and clearly not a long term answer, even if they think he's good enough to win NOW they should draft a QB as well.
Why not? Flacco sucks and is old. Why wouldn’t you take your QB of the future and let him sit for a season or 2 to learn?
I can- Drew Lock.
Broncos would rather have washed up Flacco than Tannehill. That’s telling.
Flacco's the perfect "bridge" QB for them. They can draft a guy and develop him behind JF. This is important if they draft a "work in progress" like Drew Lock.
Because this move sais they are trying to win now. So you use that first pick to strengthen another weakness. Not saying they WONT draft a QB. Just saying this move shows what their position is going into the draft.
Washed up vs. Never was
