He's also not getting the 38 million mentioned when his name came up. Feel sorry for Welker, but hey, that's part of the business.

Second and a 7th? Nice move Rick, Bye Wes, you're just not worth $38 Million.

its bitter sweet because i was a big wes welker fan and now watching him play for the hated pats is going to be really hard and especially how i can see him really hurting us in the future...however props to mueller and cam for getting 2 picks for wes

Honestly I love this move. There is so much negative going around from all the fans about everything so far, and the funny thing is everyone with the exception of Welker is a guy that people said we needed to cut. The amazing part is we actually got picks for those guys.

We are retooling the offense, the defense is staying intact for the most part. Wikinson needs to be replaced but Roth will replace Carter well. So we will be returning the #5 defense and so we will still win some games. On the offensive side we will probably lean heavily on Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams but that is a great thing. Hopefully Culpepper can return at 100% because if he does this team will be a lot better than people expect.

This is great....I don't know how we pulled that one but I'm glad we did it....that 7th can be used to move up or to maybe try and hit on a player...maybe a kicker?

Ozzy rules!!

sucks to lose him and wish we could of found another team to take him for a 2nd, but oh well. thanks wes, but PEACE!

How much is he getting? As we tendered him, is that all? Or will he be signed to a different deal?
