That’s good news for Mike Pouncey, which was much needed for him and of course, for the Miami Dolphins organization. I think it’s safe to say that we can now put the bullying scandal in the background and move forward without looking back.
After news coming out a few weeks ago about Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey being injured and missing several weeks of the season coupled with the news from this past weekend about an alleged assault, it’s time for some good news.
According to the Miami Herald, Pouncey is not likely to face any type of punishment from the NFL in regards to his role in the bullying scandal that rocked the organization last season.
During an email exchange between the Miami Herald and NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, the league told them that there has been “no change in [Pouncey’s] active status [and] we have no other information to offer on the subject.”
When asked directly if that meant the league would have no update on the situation going forward, Aiello responded: “Never say never but I don’t anticipate having to address the issue again.”
