Records are made to be broken, one of these season's someone's is going to top Dan Marino's passing yards, one day some team is going to go undefeated......relax.....that's football.........................Nay, that's sports.

Besides, there's nothing us Dolfans can do about it anyway, so don't let it get you so irritated. Live your life as is.

They are at the point now though that even if they lose a regular season game then go on to win the Super Bowl.........everyone is going to say, "WELL THEY COULD HAVE GONE UNDEFEATED BUT THEY PLAYED IT SMART AND RESTED GUYS"

Oh the Colts are most likely not going to be undefeated. Not because they don't have the ability. Just that the coach said that once the Colts clinch the top playoff spot, he'll give the reserves more playing time. Which make sense, when you come to think about it.

FINALLY.............some one who can READ!!!

Well that is true. Just like to wait awhile before records are broken. Sometimes I think people think someone breaking a record takes away from the accomplishment. Steve Largent is still thought of as a great wide reciever.

I want my favorite team and its players to hold on to their records for as long as possible. Whats wrong with that? Its pride in my team!

Nothing, but is there something wrong with representing other sports? Besides the Spurs are the best and deepest team in the league right now. But I will stick to football in this thread aside from sigs and stuff.

a man we go way back.......you can talk about what ever you want to ..........it's a free country.............bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraat

Records don't mean much to me. A record is just a simple tool for quantifying history. I try to enjoy the achievements as they're happening. That enjoyment isn't diminished if a player from a different team compiles better statistics in whatever way is deemed important that day.

Remember when batting average was an important statistic in baseball? On-base percentage soon became more important. Slugging percentage was important, too. Then OBP. Who has the highest? I don't care. Records and other statistics are just tools. No more important than a shovel in the shed.
