So the injury today to Delmas got me thinking who do you think is going to be Miami's Breakout player this year? My pick is going to be Jamar Taylor He is having a very solid camp and he looks to be going into the season healthy this year! he has always had the skill set to be a very good CB he was always just nagged with injuries his first two season and now i feel like he is going to make a big leap on this team and he is someone i think we should keep our eyes on. Other options are Chris McCain, Walt Aikens due to injury to Delmas those are the other two players i see making a big jump this year and having a good season.

Gotta go walt Aikens. Kid is very talented and he will be at a position to make plays. Hes a ball hawk and that is what we need at FS

Also going with Aikens. Would love to see another player the staff developed turn into a good starter.

My second choice is Damian Williams; its more of a hope than thinking he's going to break out. 500-600 yards and 5 TD from Damian would be great.

So this list is a little incoherent, or should I sing one of these things is not like the other. That thing be Earl Mitchell, he has been in the league for awhile now and the other guys are all young and just starting out or have been in the league less than 3 seasons. Earl's days of "breaking out " are probably long gone

I'm going with Billy Turner - not that I don't think the others on the list can also breakout - I just think Turner has the greatest potential plus you add impact as it's a need area.

In my view there's a lot to like about him and do believe he will surprise us all. He has great feet and has that natural strength you look for inside. Technique may/will let him down from time to time but that's expected with such a young player from a small school, but his work rate and footwork will help him recover.

My only question on him is his ability to anchor against behemoths inside, and notably against the Jets and Bills - but hopefully the work he is getting against Suh will prepare him well for that.

Earl Mitchell is a solid well respected vet, seems an odd choice.

Lets all hope Aikens has a massive breakout year, I think we already have enough issues at cb without worrying about safety.

I'm going with Phins offense as a whole. Getting Cameron involved yesterday and getting Parker back slowly makes me realize there is more than meets the eye with this offense. Imagine 2 TE sets with Sims? The guards need to block one extra second, that's all.

That Dallas Thomas hate tho . . . dude has been the best guard in camp, to the point where they have started to move the rookie to the right side to compete with Turner because Dallas has seemingly locked up left guard at the moment. I think people forget this is only his third year . . . . a perfect "breakout" candidate (though like the rest of this list, it remains to be seen).

I'm still gonna go with Damian Williams. I think his pass catching ability will prove impressive in this offense and he'll be a force in the 2nd half of games.

I really wish they would just let the rookie linemen learn one spot. If they hadn't put Thomas at LT as a rook he wouldn't have the "reputation" he earned around here after the dallas game. It has always been clear than Thomas is a LG not a tackle

I'm another that thinks there is a decent chance Thomas takes a big step forward. He's athletic enough to be decent in a ZBS. But the player on the list that has the most responsibility resting on his shoulders is Jamar Taylor. And with Grimes on the other side from him he will have a lot of balls thrown his way. I don't think it's ridiculous to think he may end up with 5-6 picks if he stays healthy. To me that is the key for him, but he is going to get the opportunity to shine.

I actually think all will do well, but the player I think will have the most notable season will be Chris McCain. I think he will have more splash plays and will benefit the most from the elite d-line.

He was my second choice. On a team with limited options at LB, he's going to play a TON and have every opportunity to show out. And he has the physical attributes to excel plus seems to have his head oon straight.

I agree...very high ceiling
