Brett Farve and Javon Walker

Favre is washed up when is everyone gonna realize that. He's stealing money with his 6 int performance everytime he's in a big spot in the playoffs. His mystique died the day Michael Vick walked into Lambeau in the playoffs and beat him. If the Packers should be paying anyone big money now it should be young players. Look how Favre treated Aaron Rodgers whining about how he isn't going to mentor the kid and how he opened his big fat mouth about Javon's contract issue knowing that managment kisses his a$$ and that if he spoke out against Javon then he basically was guaranteed NOT to get a contract. Hell of a teammate don't you think? He's a pr*ck who needs to pass the torch already and get out of the game before he embarrasses himself!

i think hes already embarressed himself.

He will probaly hang around another year or 2 and try to break Marino's records. He does look washed up.

Today Favre said he's just a piece of the puzzle for the Packers LMAO. The teams in the dumps now and now he's just "a piece of the puzzle."

Brett Favre is still one of the Top 5 Qb's in the league. Why wouldn't he be, because they are 0-2. If that's the case, then Daunte Culpepper is terrible. Javon Walker had 1 good season, he needed to prove himself more, that's what Brett Favre was saying. Brett Favre has been playing on a consistent basis for over 10 years now, he always leads the Pack to the playoffs. As much as I would hate to see Marino's records broken, Favre is going to break the TD mark at least, and he deserves it. I would take Brett Favre over any QB in the league, the man is a 3-Time league MVP, he is one of the GREATEST to ever play in the NFL!!! Whenever Javon Walker can play for over 10 straight years, avoid injury, win 3 MVP awards, and a Super Bowl, then you all can complain about his contract.

I don't think anyone is disputing Farve's career, the guy is one of the best ever. He isnt playing good right now and he has had a complete meltdown in the playoffs the last couple of years, he isnt the player he once was but he is still good.
Walker got the shaft, I don't see any reason to trash him because he wanted to get paid a respectable amount of money incase he got injured-which he did. Farve broke the code with the players, no players go public like this and trash someone's ability to negotiate a deal with the management, especially when they have a good point. Walker manned up and came to camp and played under his current contract, he didnt hold out for any long length of time, he only threatened it unless Im mistaken. He didnt do anything wrong, he just asked for more money, when Farve ruined his chances of getting it he came to camp and played under his current deal. Its easy for a guy like Farve making like 10mil a season to go after a guy that makes 500k, thats just nonsense. Id absolutely hate Farve if I was Walker, he's a better man than me.
