Brian Flores doesn’t know what Tua Tagovailoa can do

Oh yeah, after taking a sack...... I look forward to Tua doing the Ric Flair walk back to the huddle.

20th anniversary of the perfect season game.
If the Fins cannot get up for this game, then they have no pulse.
I expect a great performance from the Fins.
Flores can suck Deez nuts

Or maybe Flores saw Tua's limitations daily in practice and saw plays like the one that got him nearly brain dead in Cincy. Maybe he saw his inability to react well to pressure or make good throws on the run or when his feet werent perfectly aligned.
Tua has improved in many areas and 'guys get hurt' in this league, but when there's such a direct correlation from his inability to handle pressure to his injuries, it's not like he had to be Nostradamus to predict his 2022 fate to this point.
You better believe Flores saw plays in practice where he was like "Tua, WTF are you looking at?!?".
Tua had an embarrassingly Low Wunderlic score. Is there such big surprise he's so often caught off guard? Guys watch film or process the playbook differently and if a player doesnt learn well or retain information well they will make more mistakes.
If the QB forgets the route-tree of a given play, then he'll be confused when he scans the field and guys aren't where he thought they'd be.
Or if a player cant recognize a defense in the presnap read, then he's not going to audible to the correct solution.
Seriously, it's a legit possibility, with material evidence to support, that Tua is kinda dumb by NFL QB standards.

When that QB gets to his drop or look unfield after a roll-out, he doesnt have time to think about what play he called.
'Processing speed'?
How about 'processing accuracy'?

But, I can certainly flip this on its head and blame many of Tua's problems on bad coaching, recovery from the hip injury in 2020 (the recovering part was in 2020), new offensive systems to learn, Bad OLine play, which is known to cause 'happy feet' or other issues.

Until Tua can stay upright and play well over an extended period of time, it's foolish to lambast a coach, who saw him everyday in practice, for not believing in Tua.
Tua made One Bad Play in Cincy that cost Miami 3 wins, if it's to be believed that he is the difference-maker we need him to be. That One Bad Play in Cincy was as consequential as all the good plays he made in the 3-0 start.

I don't know man, I've seen some stellar manipulation of backers and safeties by Tua this season. He was seeing the field just fine before the Cincy game, short week of prep certainly didn't do him any favors in that one
