Does it piss anybody off that this guy is actually doing alright with the Bucs? I know its not Gruden that's made him a decent QB. Maybe it was Juansdead that made him that bad. Maybe he is a time bomb and is bound to suck again. Maybe that he plays well with a good O-Line. Man, what's all your thoughts on this?

average arm-accurate-terrible progressions QB(which is greise) in the WCO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>average arm-accurate-terrible progressions QB in our offense

Greises is not good at reading defenses. which he doesnt really have to do in the WCO offense.

I watched Griese play here in Colorado for the Donkeys...he was always being compared to Elway which made it almost impossible for him...then he goes to Miami where he was compared to his dad.....now the pressure is off and he is a little older and knows the NFL and he is doing good in Tampa....too many teams gave up on him too soon including the Phins.

sure underscores the fact that a running game indeed makes all the difference...

though i read a thread somewhere this week ranting how sucktacular he was Sunday...

Yeah i agree. While i wasn't too big on bringing in Brian Griese, or his play in Miami. Certainly the pressure must have got to him in Miami and Denver. Now he's playing in a good offense, with some good recievers and a good backfield. Not a great pass blocking line but enough for Griese to make a few plays. While i wouldn't say "we should have kept Griese!", it's interesting to see how he's succeeding in Tampa as to how he was in Miami.
