Brian Hartline is a believer

Hartline blocked me on Twitter after I very politely pointed out that he did not like the only QB capable of getting his non separating Ass the ball and making him look like a legitimate NFL caliber player. I told him he should send Tannehill a fruit basket for the Millions he made him.

This was before he found himself unable to hold a roster spot on the Browns, or any team in the league for that matter.

Now that we've hit our stride and found our formula we could very well continue to play good, competitive football through the year. Saying we'll make the playoffs is still a tremendous longshot, we'd have to have a 2008-like second half where we take care of almost all our own business and get some help.

Hahahahaha! Straight up called it, bro.

Maybe a little harsh in retrospect but man -- he at least should have sent a fruit basket, lol.

You could get Hartline on the ground by blowing on him.

His next broken tackle might be his first...

I thought he liked Tannehill, no?

I wonder if Landry will ever break Hartlines team record for receiving yards in a game. Still can't believe he holds that record with all the great receivers that have suited up over the years.

Hartline was a good player and representative for us. Why the hate?

It's cool he's reaching out to fans and sending positives vibes.

I won't link the original article because it belongs to Omar.

A chunk of the reasoning for parting with what amounted to 135 receptions in 2014 was because Tannehill apparently didn’t have an affable relationship with those departed wideouts, according to the Sun Sentinel’s Omar Kelly.
“His receivers did not like him last year and they didn’t hide it,” Kelly said on WQAM’s Joe Rose Show Monday morning. “All the receivers that didn’t like him have been dumped except for Rishard Matthews. We’re getting to the point now where if you don’t like Ryan Tannehill you’ve got to go.

I don't have a problem with him. I'm sure he's come to terms with his abilities as a player at this level. If the article is true and he helped create a hostile work environment for a QB that in hindsight, was 90% responsible for his success, then Karma is providing all the hate necessary.

I really have a hard time seeing Hartline and Tannehill having problems over the course of their entire relationship. They were productive and the last time I saw a game in person they hung together. I can imagine Hartline being a bit disgruntled in 2014, we went to a new offense and what it required of its receivers simply wasn't his strongsuit and Tannehill didn't look his way much. Maybe that put some strain on their relationship, but while getting rid of Wallace was questionable as a football move, getting rid of both Hartline and Gibson made more sense than any moves the Dolphins have made in some time when looked at from a cost versus production standpoint.

I don't always disagree with Omar, negative as he can be sometimes, but we can all agree he likes to stir the pot. The only receiver we KNOW was jettisoned for problems with Tannehill was Wallace.
