I've been told that Brian Hartline, who suffered a torn PCL in Week 17, is on track to be ready for the 2014 opener. Recovery going well.

He didnt play one snap during the 2012 offseason, then went on to have a 1k receiving year. He'll be ready.

Glad to hear it. PCL is one of the lesser worrisome injuries a player can get. Athletes in general tear their PCL quite often and early in their careers, even before they get to the NFL usually.

Looks like a lot of us forgot that. Would be great to get him and Gibson back and ready. I'd love to hear a report of Gibson doing weight bearing exercise now.

Great news. In spite of what some here think of him, he has been one of our best and most consistent players since he came here, and Tannehill's favorite target. In spite of whoever the HC, OC or QB has been, he has done basically the same year in and year out with no drop offs.

Except he's only been successful with one HC, OC, or QB.

Sounds funny, but the momentum in that Jets game totally changed IMO when Hartline was sidelined

Maybe Hartline would've ran that crossing route that Matthews did when he had that horrendous drop which probably cost us a touchdown... Ugh some pretty AWFUL memories from the last 2 games last year I'll tell ya right now.

The smartest Dolphin fan in Maine is right, AGAIN! We shouldn't have been so vulnerable but the air went out of the balloon from the moment Hartline went down. He's far more valuable to the team than many appreciate.
