Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline is being paid like a top-tier No. 2 receiver but he never is a particularly exciting WR despite coming off consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. This is not to bash Hartline but rather to point out the flaws on the Miami Dolphins offense. I have been saying for years now that Hartline is a round peg that they're trying to fit in a square hole. He just doesn't fit ! He has good hands and some quickness but thats it! He is not physical or fast enough to be an OUTSIDE RECEIVER! He doesnt score a lot to begin with and you want him to do something he cant really do.

We talk about how Miami WRs corp is so deep but they are all the same. Same heights, same speed, same mediocrity. Only Wallace has something special and that is his speed. We basically have four WRs we could do exactly the same thing but differently.

PLease, please read this piece to see my point :

Lots of us have made these points. Some of us from before Ireland gave him that top-tier number 2 contract.

I became one of the most hated posters on FH for awhile, in fact, because of this reality, lol.

Now pretty much everyone can see it, so there's no real need to talk about it much. Unless, of course, you want to be a person who states the obvious (the kind of person who sees incisively in hindsight, not foresight).

that bleacher reports photo is more of a problem for tannehill than hartline becaause that ball should've been thrown at or before the cuthart-buf-vs-mia.png

The real issue here is Hartline just isn't that good, and some people allowed themselves to believe he actually is a good WR. A bonfire #2 WR, unfortunately for the Dolphins one if those people was our previous idiot GM!

My problem with Hartline is never any yards after catch. He will fall down if no one is around him.

I've slowly come around to agreement with the position that Brian Hartline is making a business decision every time he catches the football. It's the only explanation I can come up with for how someone who is enough of an athlete to start as a wide receiver in the NFL and be productive can be such an uncoordinated klutz.
