Mark down Orlando coach Brian Hill as one of those critical of former Miami coach Nick Saban's decision to leave the Dolphins with three years left on his contract to go to the University of Alabama.
Hill, who spent 14 years as a college coach, thinks teams should have to ask permission to contact coaches under contract. Hill said the same respect should be given by coaches to their teams when they're entertaining job offers.
"You owe it to your employer to be straightforward,'' Hill said. "This doesn't pertain to Nick Saban, but if you are being courted by another team, I think permission should be asked because you are a coach under contract. That team should know whether he's being pursued, and they shouldn't have to find out from somebody else.''

Now then, back to the thread, I am just gonna laugh my a$$ off when $aban leaves Spama after 2 years to be the head jerk-off for the 49ers. Its all about Karma, and both Little Nicky and the Crimson slide have bad karma coming thier way...

• Saban's departure brought relief to numerous Dolphins staffers who felt as though they were walking on eggshells with him.
An official said a Dolphins staffer once complimented Saban on his haircut. That staffer later was told not to speak directly to the coach again. And as profootballtalk.com once reported -- and an official confirmed -- Saban once snapped because a team staffer didn't purchase the correct type of ''Little Debbie'' cakes.

The more I read about him, the more I'm glad he's gone. :fire:

Wow... I've often thought of a little incident I had when he was coach at LSU. We had just beaten Georgia in 2003 on a last minute touchdown. I am a game marshal for LSU football games and one of my jobs is to monitor the locker room entrance to make sure only players and coaches enter. As the team was jogging toward the locker room I had my hand out to players and coaches as they came by. Saban reached for my hand and in my exuberance I gave him a firm shake but it also slowed him down as he went by. I guess he was looking for more of a hand slap. As I looked back he had turned and was glaring at me...sort of a "how dare you look". Didn't think much of it at the time but as time went on and I heard about some of his tirades I guess I'm lucky he didn't come back and say anything. I have a problem with people who get in my face over something stupid. Not sure how that would have turned out.
