Bridgewater blamed for lack of connecting on deep route with Wallace

Nice find. What makes me think Wallace might be the issue and Bridgewater is fine?

I was torn what to do with Wallace, but Tannenbaum made the right move in the end.

Teddy Bridgewater is an accurate deep passer. His deep accuracy was good last year, his deep accuracy in college was good, and now this year suddenly Teddy can't throw deep?

This isn't hard to figure out, folks.

Merril Hoge showed tape of Bridgewater missing an open Mike Wallace for what should have been a touchdown pass, and Hoge noted that it was a play that had been designed perfectly for Wallace to get open downfield — it just wasn’t executed properly by Bridgewater.

“It’s Mike Wallace that you create a one-on-one matchup for. Your fastest guy over there. You get speed, you get one-on-one, he’s wide open, and it’s not even close,” Hoge said of Bridgewater’s pass.

Its not hard to figure out. Bridgewater is as bad as Tannehill

Wallace was a pain in the ass but if you watch the Tannehill highlight tape from last he made some pretty sick plays for us

FinHeaveners never learn. They will prop up almost anyone wearing a Dolphins uniform.

Everyone singed up and visiting this is site is a FinHeavener and you talk as if you are not one I don't get it lol...

As for propping up there will always be people that defend the players on the team as bad they may be for the most part. I will say wasn't ever a fan of our WR's we have had since Tannehill and Wallace I thought had potential but wasn't long before I was done with him.

Trading Wallace was a mistake, a good coach would have squashed any beef he and the other WR had with RT for the betterment of the team....this team traded away 900 yds and 10 TD and didn't replace the production.....RT would have played better this yr with Wallace on the field....what this team needs to do is stop trading away talent, add to the talent already on the field....dont be fooled into thinking he sucks because of his numbers with the Vikings....the Vikes are a run first team and play defense, don't allow the QB to make mistakes and its worked out quite well for them, Teddy is a 2nd yr QB, teams have film on him and taking away what he does well, if he is a good QB he will rebound....but more importantly, you don't hear Wallace creating a distraction with Zimmer as coach because he wouldn't put up with it and Wallace understands this, Philbin was weak and only wanted weak people around him.....

You are absolutely correct, the problem was his salary.....when fans see a guy making a certain amount of money they expect him to put up the numbers to match it.....they have to understand we over paid for a good WR, that doesn't change the fact that he is a good wr....money is not going to make him great.....I see the same problem happening with Albert and Suh.....they are both very good players but will never live up to the contract they signed.....even though Wallace was having obvious issues with the QB and coaching staff he never hurt the team with penalties like Landry has.....

I rather take a few penalties with a player who tries to do more than just be a WR. Jarvis maybe gets emotional at times and may cost us some yards at least he doesn't stand there and basically watch as his teammates get tackled without attempting to block or doing a half ass block.

Anyways hes gone and it is what it is. I just am pretty glad he's gone personally.

THis is a hot topic on the PA sports shows. A lot of Pittsburgh people are saying they aren't surprised that Wallace has struggled now at 2 spots. They are saying that while Wallace CAN do more than just deep passes he doesn't like it, and even then most of his big plays in Pittsburgh came off of busted plays that were extended by Ben.

I mean Wallace is as good at catching with his hands as Ted Ginn is.

I thought it was self explanatory. Good point though lol. I'm referring to the FinHeaven members who make every excuse for Tannehill, made excuses for Henne, Bess, Fiedler, etc.
