Forget Brady Quinn at number nine. But Ginn! The guy has a Broken Wheel. We should of traded down!!! Then we could of took Meecham. We should of also took C Ryan Kalil at 40.

Acknowledging that the FO had Ginn as the top player on their board when they picked.....

You think they should have compromised their draft board because a player may not be 100% at the start of camp?? Our first round pick is going to sign a 5-6 year contract....and you would prefer that they compromise months of scouting because of 1 month of that time??

This is a lie !!.

I was praying we took Kalil. I also thought we should have gone Quinn with the first pick, and then took Rice later on if there.

I really wanted Kalil, but dont you think we would have moved up maybe 2 picks in order to get him? Carolina drafted him 1 pick before we took Satele. Value wise, it would have been a lot to give up to move up even a few picks in the second rd. Maybe Miami had a plan going into the draft, lets just say picking their highest rated player with the intention of drafting the highest rated QB in the 2nd? If Ginn is who they targeted all along, I do not disagree with their logic. It would have been a crap shoot to think that no one would have taken Ginn if we traded down. We would have been left with the BPA if Ginn went before us, and not get the guy Cam wanted. Having said that, dont you find it a bit exciting that we got the guy we WANTED and not who was left over?

Miami had Satele rated higher than Kalil so I don't really think they even cared to move up. Satele is a mauller whereas Kalil is a nice guy technique man, not to take away from Kalil he is sick to, just different styles.

It's reported on ESPN. It's a lisfranc sprain/fracture/dislocation of the foot.

I see ESPN managed to scoop even themselves on this report. Heck, it's been hours and no one else has managed to sniff this story! No links, no nothing save for the statement that everyone already knew - Ginn wasn't healthy, and would need time.

I can understand why you and the ESPN crew have to play this up and blow it out of proportion though - Quinn not going to the Dolphins at 9 seriously blew their credibility out of the water, as did the unprofessional way they acted. You have to blow it out of proportion because you're scared, simply put. Even with an injured foot, Ginn flat out blows past 90% of the NFL, and guaranteed everyone on the Bills (unless you have someone who can run a 4.28 or faster). It's cool though, we forgive you and ESPN for looking foolish.

Ummm hellooooooo, it takes 2 teams to trade. I love how people we should have traded down, blah blah blah. What if no other team wanted to trade up?? People just assume you snap your fingers and presto you trade down.
