Well since broncos will finish at best 10-6 assumin they lose @ INDY @ PHILLY

they got 2 home games against oak n kc which arent automatic since both teams have upsetted pitt

what are the tiebreakers if it pans out broncos losing to ind/phi
and beating kc/oak

and we end up 10-6

That would be a bad *** wild card game. You know i fill Patriots have another lost in them. I also think it is going to be nearly impossible to going 10-6 i still fill this is a 8-8 team.

they would get in ahead of us unfortunately

Oh ok are you sure though?
I dont think denver is all that good at all- plus their season prediction was 8-8
So what team u think matches up better to beat them kc or oak?
9-7 is most defintely possible

so the tiebreaker is conference games im assuming?

Does anybody know if we can clinch before the final game? like when we are 9-6 is it possible to clinch a berth? give our players a nice game off

currenty denver is 6-3 in conference we r 4-4 we will end up 8-4

and if denver loses to indy and beats kc oak they r 8-4 also

so next tiebreaker is common games, they beat ne and san diego idk how this tiebreaker works ,can anyone help?

The next tie breaker is common games with a minimum of four games. So Miami and Denver both will have played against IND, NE, SD, and PIT. Assuming Denver loses to IND and we beat PIT, we would both have a 2-3 record vs like opponents.

The next tie breaker would then be strength of victory. There is no way in the world I can figure that one out now.

This also assumes that the tie is only between us and DEN.

Not likely that we will clinch at 9-6.

IF we win our next 3 AND New England loses to Buffalo and at least 1 more of their next 3 AND the Jets lose at least 1 of their next 3 then we would win the division regardless of whether or not we beat Pittsburgh in week 17

Clinching a wildcard berth is much more complicated having to take into account the tiebreakers for non-divisional opponents.
Denver, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville and the stinkin Jets would all have to help us out for us to clinch early.

The Broncos will lose to Indianapolis and Philadelphia, and you're right the Oakland and KC games aren't automatic either. I think it's realistic that they lose three of the four games, they just don't impress me. We'll see. Hopefully the Phins can vault them in the standings and claim a 5th seed. Though our opponent would be pretty tough in the playoffs if we got there no matter who we face, either a three seed Chargers/Bengals on the road or the Patriots if we end up being the 5th seed since they'll be the fourth. No thanks to January Foxboro.

According to another post where someone calculated current strength of victory, Denver holds a significant edge on us at the moment. Looking further, our remaining schedules appear very unlikely to close that gap, maybe impossible. (This assumes the figures he posted are correct.)

To get in ahead of Denver at 10-6, we'd need them to lose to Indy and either Oakland or KC.

A 3-way tie with Baltimore wouldn't help, since as it happens they've also played that set of 4 teams, and they'd be 3-2 in those common games, taking the first wildcard. We'd then be left in a 2nd tiebreak with Denver, and lose on strength of victory.

There's no other team with which we could get into a 3-way tiebreak with Denver at 10-6, except San Diego if they collapse and finish 2nd behind Denver. If we beat Jacksonville and they finish 10-6, it means they will have beaten New England and we'd win the division, so we wouldn't need the wildcard.
