This from the Miami Herald. Looks like people are really hopping on the Gus Bus.

HOT: QB Gus Frerotte made one of the prettiest throws of training camp when he hit WR Kendall Newson for what would have been roughly a 40-yard touchdown pass in the left front corner of the end zone. Newson also made a good catch, but the throw couldn't have been better placed if Frerotte had walked the ball down the field. For the rest of practice, Frerotte continued to show off his strong arm, although a couple of throws could have used a little better touch.

No, this throw was TODAY in practice to Kendall Newson.

The one you are speaking of was in Monday night's game to Brian Gilmore.
 
Couple this news with Adam Schefter reporting on NFL Total Access that he believes Ronnie's deal will be done by the end of this week, and we actually, might, hopefully be finally making progress here, folks.

Nice to hear of newson. I hope he plays well enough to kick Thompson right out of Miami.
