MIAMI - The Miami Dolphins may have drafted the second-best Auburn running back last April.

That doesn't make Ronnie Brown a bust.

A breakout performance Sunday by the Dolphins rookie helped them beat the Carolina Panthers 27-24. Brown ran for 132 yards in 23 carries, including his first NFL touchdown, silencing critics who had complained that coach Nick Saban drafted the wrong Auburn rusher with this year's No. 2 overall pick.

"I just use that stuff as motivation," Brown said. "I feed off it."......

 Thanks for the compliment.

Ronnie Brown is going to be a very good back. It's tough to dominate the NFL when you've missed most of training camp and played in what, 1 pre-season game. The first 2 games on the season were a chance for him to learn the game on the job. Now he's settling in and should get better every week. When Ricky gets back our backfield is going to be the dirtiest in the NFL!

I didn't see the game, I only heard it on the live feed. But our O-line got more push today too didn't they? It sounded like it. Of course, they also said at least a couple of times, Ronnie slipped through a small crack and knocked guys over or broke tackles. Both are good signs.
