If the browns pick up calvin johnson then that gives us lyk 40% more likley that brady quinn falls to us.
that would be freaking mad.

too bad i cant believe reports like this at this time of year.....this report kinda makes me think they want a QB

id rather go ALL OUT in FA's and draft this year...aka...sign Eric Steinbach and another OL...sign good CBs, sign an OLB...and draft receivers and a Mason Crosby...that would solidify so much of our team...

THEN...next year do whatever it takes to trade down and snatch Brian Brohm. i like Brohm...lets give Culpeper, Harrington, Lemon another year to see what they can do...hopefully behind a better O-line, with better receivers, with a better defense...if they still cant get it together...id be all for trading our picks and a player to trade up for Brian Brohm. Let Brohm groom 2-3 years behind Culpeper and Harrington, then trade away Culpeper.

Dont believe that crap. Its way too early for the anyteam to say who they are going to or not going to get in the draft.

Looks like one team may not be drafting QB. Bad news for Troy Smith. Good news possibly for us if this means one more team leaves the Brady Quinn race.

The Browns are going to take Adrian Peterson...mark it.

The only wild card is what the Raiders do. They need a QB and they have alot of WRs to trade. If they don't do anything crazy, the first four picks (IMO) are locked to Oak, Det, Cleveland, and TB, repectively;
1. JaMarcus Russell 2)Joe Thomas 3)Adrian Peterson 4) Calvin Johson

After that, it gets a little blurry with Gaines Adams, Jamaal Anderson, Brady Quinn, Alan Branch, and Omobi Akoye, with LaRon Landry maybe making a crazy move up the boards.

But the first four picks are locks, IMO. And if one of those teams does the unexpected (if the Lions or Browns take Quinn) then all hell will break loose with teams like the Steelers and Cowboys trying to move up to get AP.

Would Dallas trade Bradie James, Marion Barber and the 22nd pick or whatever to move up to #3 to take AP? They might.

I think houston will snatch him up.
It depends really. If Adrian Peterson is there, Houston MUST draft him, as they need to draft a running back to take away all that passing on Reggie Bush stuff out of their heads. I also heard a rumor of Kubiak possibly targetting Jake Plummer; of course it's not long term, but he may want to wait another year before drafting a quarterback.

I think our biggest worry might be the Lions grabbing Quinn. They say they are committed to John Kitna, but is ANYONE really committed to John Kitna?

I just realized it was the lions I was talking about so maybe. CMON MILLEN!

Have you heard of the salary cap?

This is a very unrealistic plan. Not to mention you must not have high expectations for next years team if you think we'll be anywhere near the position to trade up for Brohm, who is likely the top QB.

I guess cleveland will get Either Cj or peterson

i dunno i think cleveland is just bullcrappin. i doubt they take a reciever after picking edwards in the first when we drafted ronnie. i think they either take peterson or quinn and honestly i thnk they grab quinn... there just sayin this to fool everyone

It could be a smoke screen, Although Frye is still developing.

i dont think he will get him b/c there Running back is BACK next year and reportedly he is a changed man. Literally, changed his last name, jersey number, hair cut n stuff like that and wants to be reborn basically.

Doesn't mean anything. If they have him as the top rated player available they'll draft him. They'd be crazy not to, they have no running game.
