Remember when the Cleveland Browns were the biggest threat to take quarterback Ryan Tannehill from the Miami Dolphins? Well, longtime Browns writer Tony Grossi reports that Tannehill wasn't a strong consideration for the team. The Browns simply had too many questions about the former Texas A&M quarterback.
"Ryan Tannehill had the size and the arm, but his maturity as a quarterback and field leader were so lacking that he turned [the Browns] off in personal interviews," Grossi reported. "He didn't project as a leader."
Keep in mind this is reportedly one team's evaluation of Tannehill. Cleveland, which held the No. 4 pick and traded up to No. 3 to draft tailback Trent Richardson, didn't feel Tannehill was ready for the NFL. The Browns also drafted 28-year-old Brandon Weeden later in the first round, who is considered more NFL ready.

Mike H. felt this way, the QB guru from GB to Seattle to Cleveland, and we're using the same pike line with a different opinion. Interesting.
