I remember Saban wanting to pick this guy up the year he signed with Cleveland. We could possibly give them a 5th or 4th and aquire a good LT. What do you guys think. In my personal opinion if Saban wanted him Houck had to have seen something in him.

So would that slot Carey back to right tackle? I don't know, I'm sick of signing other team's garbage. That was all Saban would do. Instead of signing good players, he'd have competition between mediocre players and assume that it would make them play better. That era is over, we are getting our own guys now-a-days.
