Steve Doerschuk, of the Canton Repository, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/13/nfl">Cleveland Browns are discussing a "ballpark" contract with Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green that would make him visit the Browns complex to gauge his interest in playing for the team

I think Culpepper's knees are shot and may never play a down of football again.

If Green goes to Cleveland, it really looks like Quinn, Stanton or Lemon will be our starter.
 
Sign Green and pass on Quinn. :big grin:

If he goes to Cleveland, we need to either make 100% sure we get Quinn or Carr.
 
Go for Carr if we can't get Green. I don't see DC recovering enough to get his mobility back; and without it he's not a good QB (he needs his mobility to give him time to read defense). He showed last year he's not a Pocket QB.
 
Pep will start book it, let all the dante haters come out!
 
Since we aren't pushing hard to sign a vet, does this mean the FO has more faith in Pep than they are letting on? If they had major health concerns, I think they would feel a lot more pressure to make a vet QB pickup.
