Buffalo cannot be considered an elite run defense anymore, they're giving up 4.9 ypc and 172 rushing yards per game.

Ronnie should get over 100 again and a score.

giving up 200+ yards to the falcans kinda messes up your stats for a while.

but, long story short, i see why you think the fins can run all over the bills. but im just saying its not that simple. and it may be harder to do than it seems.

True. It was their first game without Spikes. They'll make adjustments as neccessary.

If Ronnie goes 100+, it will look something like the Panthers game. McAlister was getting about 2-3 yards per carry for the first three quarters, and then ripped off a couple of big ones in the fourth to boost his numbers.

Take off your Rose colored glasses pal. The fact is that the Bills have given up over 170 yards a game on the ground, 191 TB, 236 Atlanta of which only 64 was Vick, and 167 N.O., not counting Houston's 95 yards (the ONLY game they won so far). So you could say that the 95 yards in the Houston "messes up" the stats. Face it, your run defense is sorely lacking so far this year.

They gave up 191 and 236 with Spikes!! Those adjustments better be "GENIUS" quality!

I'll second that and I'm sure the team would also... The Dolphins are trying to find consistency with the line, they're not going to underestimate any D-line. If we have a successful running attack then great, if it doesn't work then I'm sure the coaching staff will adjust.

And on that note: We're going to run right through Buffalo!!! :apc:

spikes got hurt just before half time in the falcans game. but IMO, our poor run D in THAT game was due to our defensive game plan. its the falcons.

the Tampa game is the game where i blame the players. horrible D all day.

and the N. Orleans game i blame the offense. cus the D held the saints to only ~50 yards up untill the 4th quarter, when it was still a 1 score game.

but yeah, we need to get our **** together. a lot of blame to go around.

if we give up 100+ yards to brown, the players should be beaten with, soap in a pillow case, until they get the message. :yell:

WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?? YOU DON'T THINK BROWN IS A QUALITY BACK...

Let's see how he leaves McGahee in a cloud of dust through his career.. But that's OK, you'll find out on Sunday.... :billsbite :nana:

I'd like to see where people run the ball with most succes. Miami is one of the teams that has done the best running the ball on Carey/Hadnots side, and hopefully that will continue.

Is that gunna be your excuse for the rest of the season. We held the Panthers, a rushing team mind you to about 65 yards on the ground on about 25 attempts. Your front seven has been under acheiving this year, while ours is the complete opposite.

Wow, man I've heard excuses before, but you sure know how to make'em

What about last year, and the year before that, buffalo has given up big run games for years, Buffalo's D IS THE MOST OVER RATED IN THE NFL.

it means there were reasons the bills gave up all those yards. and there is a good chance that those reasons wont be present in the bills/miami game.

but im just trying to point out that, just because the bills run D is rated low, that doesnt mean it will equal 150 yards for brown this sunday.

and slightly off topic..... right now, after 3 games, i do not think brown is a "quality back". but that doesnt mean he wont become one in the near future.
