Anyone see the race? I didn't get to see the entire race. I bet my boy Smoke is PO'd though!

yeah, i watched. relatively boring as far as Bristol is concerned. Burton pretty much had this one handed to after harvick took out stewart, then after hamlin had fuel pickup problems on the restart. but nice for chevy and RCR this weekend finishing 1, 2, 3.
as for tony. I didnt catch and interview with him after the race, but him and harvick are buddies, so i don't expect things to be too bad. watchin the replay you can see harvick didnt do it intentionally. Harvick was definately on the inside, Stewart didnt give him much room, harvick got the leftsides down on the apron which caused him to slide up into tony and take him out. It definately wasnt a classic Bristol bump n run...
Cant wait for martinsville in 2 weeks though! after the race that Johnson and Gordon had there last year, i hope theres alot of short track beatin and banging, and another great race to the finish like that.

Yeah - Stewart is great at bitching when people don't "give and take" then he himself pinches people and hits them alike. Then when his dumb@ss gets what's coming he crabs about it. Great race - - my boy T-Rex had a good showing - stays among the top 12 where he belongs. Toyota bombs out - great day. Bring on MARTIN's-ville.

I couldn't agree more with that assessment of Stewart. Now, I didn't hear him complaining after the race, I don't think fox interviewed him, probably because Tony refused, or maybe because I had one beer too many and forgot? But Stewart could have really avoided that incident had he given Harvick some room. Harvick was clearly to the inside, almost halfway up the drivers side door when they made contact and tony had to know harvick had the faster car on the 4 new tires... I think it was a bit of a stupid move on his part.
