C.J. Anderson to Pro Bowl over Lamer Miller ???

Boy, between this and the Tannehill non pick it's almost like someone is trying to tell Dolphins fans that they're homers. Somehow we had a Pro Bowl QB and a Pro Bowl RB (to go along with who knows how many other snubs) and ended up 8-8. Weird.

I'll take Tannehill and Miller over Anderson and Dalton all day. It's just a popularity thing. I guess they where on winning teams that's the only nod they have over Tannehill and Miller.

I really do not care about the Pro Bowl, as I think it's a joke, but if you're judging those players based on their production and efficiency, there's no way in heck that Dalton and Anderson should have gone over Miller and Tannehill. That said, you do not see me complaining that Mike Pouncey is going when he didn't play well at all this season. It is what it is.

Production and efficiency are not the only measures of good play. I happen to think Tannehill is a better quarterback than Dalton and played better this year -- AJ Green has always made his quarterbacks look about 20-30% better than they actually are imo; he's not unlike Randy Moss that way -- but the reality is that neither one of them deserves to go to the Pro Bowl (in the sense that the Pro Bowl is supposed to imply you're top 3 in your conference). Neither one. The Pro Bowl is a sham for a lot of reasons but one of the main ones is that so many players drop out it's almost like the fourth preseason game. At this point it's main function is giving easily butthurt homer fans an opportunity to bitch about why their middle of the road players aren't more nationally celebrated. If only they'd sit back and maybe take the hint.

As for Miller and Anderson, would you really not rather have Anderson? I'd find anyone who actually thinks Miller is a better player a curious person. Which isn't to say I hate Miller at all. He had his best season this year in many ways, finally running with power and passion (at times), but he's still best as a complimentary piece. Even most Dolphins know that, yet they expect Pro Bowls for complimentary pieces. Anderson is better. I mean, if it was just about production, Jeremy Hill should have been added over either of them. But anyone who watches Hill can see why people would pass him over. Except Bengals fans, probably. I'd imagine there's a thread on a Bengals board just like this one bitching about why Jeremy Hill isn't in the Pro Bowl. The horror.

C.J Anderson to his credit didn't start getting the workload in Denver until week 10 and had to carry that Denver offense the final 6 games of the season.

If I had to pick either one, I'd go with Anderson.

Who cares neither deserved to go but this stupid Pro Bowl is a joke

In 6 or 7 weeks compared to 16 I would take Anderson over miller. He was punishing but yet versatile. I liked how he ran.

Pro Bowl has little to do with stats. Mike Pouncey made the Pro Bowl. Dude had an underwhelming year at G, but had a good year last year at C. Nothing to do with stats. Until Miller and Tannehill make a name for themselves, nothing will change. CJ Anderson made a name for himself for his physical running style and how he helped the Broncos continue winning while Manning was injured. It's all about the story line.

C.J: 850 rushing yards, 8 rush TD's, 4.7 avg, 34 receptions, 324 yards, 2 TD's

Lamar Miller: 1,099 rushing yards, 8 rush TD's, 5.1 avg, 38 receptions, 275 yards, 1 TD.

Whaoooo !!!! Pro bowl is a sham !

Not that stats are the only thing that matters (not that anything matters when it comes to the worst football game in the business, really), but you left out a key stat:

Anderson GS: 7
Miller GS: 16

In the end, why do people care so damn much? Are you actually going to watch that garbage game? I don't mean to tell you how to spend your time, but anything else you can think of doing during that 3 or 4 hours is a better use of what little time we all have on this earth.

if miller does what he did last yr again he will be probowler but tannehills need get better. dolphins are going pay him big money and I am not sure he worth that type of money... honestly last qb we draft got same record...
