I've never been impressed with Belichick or his coaching tree. Look at their records without Tom Brady as opposed to with. Look at what they've won without him as opposed to with. Anybody is an offense genius when you have the greatest Quarterback of all-time running the plays. It's the same as the defensive system in Baltimore with Ray Lewis. I don't want any of these failures.
Plenty of people do. They like the big names. Its like free agency. " What do you mean we didnt sign Andre Johnson, Vince Wilfork, etc!!!!!" All these guys have been fired or have been busts. Its unfreaken believable.

Crennell is an interesting one because he's had ties to Parcells since the 80's, and honestly really didn't do that bad of a job in Cleveland considering that organization is a complete failure from top to bottom and nobody will ever win there. We may need a defensive coordinator at the end of the season, Paul P. isn't going to survive long with the worst fourth quarter defense i've ever seen. At least Crennell has had success as a coordinator, as opposed to Weis who had Brady and then went to one of the greatest programs in the history of college sports and made them even worse.

Sorry, but failure at the college coaching level = coordinator spot in the NFL. At least until everyone forgets how bad of a head coach you were and decides to hire you again ala Norv Turner.
