One of the things that Nick Saban demands from his players is the willingness to sacrafice individual accomplishments for the good of the team. When it comes draft time, and a decision is made on whether or not to take a running back high, I believe Caddy and Ronnie will be very high on Nick's list.
First, he's familiar with them, having coached against them for four seasons now. Secondly, and most importantly IMO, is that both sacraficed possible chances at the Heisman Trophy for the good of the Auburn team. Either one of these backs could have rushed for 1,800 to 2,000 yards individually, but they shared the duties in the backfield without griping about it. Cadillac willingly returned punts as well as split time with Ronnie Brown. Ronnie Brown played fullback on many occasions for Caddy.
If Nick makes the decision to draft a runner, I see him going with one of these two over Cedric Benson. Benson is a heck of a talent, but I believe that his desire to win the Heisman rather than a national championship shows that he may not be willing to sacrafice his individual accomplisments if it means the team wins.
