Buccaneers running back Cadillac Williams didn't participate in the team portion of Wednesday's practice because of his sore arch but is probable for Sunday's game against the Lions, the team reported on Wednesday.

A day off is a good idea for Williams, who leads the league in carries this season with 88. He'll return to practice later this week and should be in your lineup against a Lions defense that has allowed 122 rushing yards per game this season.

Looks like all of us who are saying Gruden's running him into the ground are right already....
 
he's the anchor of my fantasy runningbacks, please dont say that!
 
i should mention my other starter is ronnie :D , don't ask why my starting runningbacks are ronnie n caddy though.
 
I really enjoy watching the guy play, I hope Gruden doesn't run him completely into the ground...
 
Carnell is in the garage for one practice.. who cares? He will play on Sunday, thats all that matters.
 
Doen't this remind all of you of that coach (He-Who-shall-not-be-named) who ran Ricky Williams into the ground by giving it to him 35+ times a game. :D

Hope Chucky doesn't ruin the Cadillac and turn him into a Yugo. :lol:

Totally agree. He may need to get down a little earlier if he wants to prolong his young career. He refuses to go down and goes for every inch he can while taking a beating. Great back thus far though.
