Maybe I'm foolish, and just a glutton for punishment.

Masochist even?!

But I am a Fins fan after all.

Call me crazy but I have a really good feeling about this week. I feel like our team may start adopting a bunker mentality. Pressure bust pipes or makes diamonds. Nobody is stroking Miami's ego anymore (which let's face it is never a good position for us, see the past 2 Decembers). Maybe pride comes into effect and we start playing the way we can.

If we can have a showing in England like we did last year, I think we may be able to turn this season around.

If we play lackluster football, stick a fork in em.

I for one will be getting my hopes up, one last week.

I won't believe anything concerning the Dolphins again until they win about 10 in a row. They need to show it and not talk it.

I am ironically hoping for 10 wins in a row!

All these people saying, I hope we lose so Philbin can get fired are dumb; if the team plays well under Philbin then why would you want him fired? It's all very silly to me.

I agree but until they show it, it's just rinse and repeat. After three years and three games, I think, if Joe was going to turn it around he already would have.

I would like to be positive and think like that but at the end of the day I don't think they have the players the talent or the depth to do anything this year. The coaching is god awful the preparation is awful the owner is awful. The O line is completely bad the secondary is atrocious. When lineman are triple teaming Suh and nobody is getting to the quarterback or creating pressure theres something seriously wrong.

They can win of course & turn their season around completely still.

I think the Bills are a much better team & they were going to win no matter how well prepared and motivated the Dolphins 'could have' and SHOULD HAVE been.

The thing is, even if they win out...

Would you be surprised if they showed up completely flat and got embarrassed on the field again?

All of the problems they had last year are still there, only BIGGER now.

(And now they are much more expensive problems).

My expectation is that we lose out the rest of the year. This team is not playing well and even if we dont lose out, we arent a playoff team. I dont want us to lose out for the sake of firing Philbin, bc that is looney! But I think he's gone after this year.

That is all fine and all, but who is our FORCE MULTIPLIER?!?!

Your blurry avatar. :p

Aren't you one of those who loved Ireland and wanted to stick with him too? You're pretty crazy, guy.

Ok...Put this in your pipe and smoke it...wish you could be right but my eyes tell me this:

Smoking Joe and the other "Coaches" had a full off season minus those pesky playoffs to plan/scheme/prepare this team for the current 2015/2016 campaign. The results of said planning have been a lackluster win in the 1st game against a team in disarray,a unit that appears more disinterested every week and two straight losses with each one being worse than the last. I submit to you that either no real time was spent getting this thing ready OR worse yet...get ready for it....They did try really hard and are that inept at their profession. Wow...Can you imagine how bad that would feel at this juncture knowing you gave it your all and it may as well have been a 3rd grader drawing up the schemes because the other team has all the answers and is 3 steps ahead of you.

So to answer your post about a possible revival this weekend...Unless there is some divine intervention or revelation and Joe suddenly becomes Bill Walsh in prime...

I am rooting for you...I really am but Me thinks you are Loco :tumbleweed::tumbleweed:

Nevermind the media hype or the fan excitement propping up the team in the offseason.

The truth is in the product on the field. Yes, The coaching staff had A LOT of time to prepare for Kirk Cousins and team. And we barely won. Then came the opportunity to show the NFL we are here to play at Jax. They looked horrible! We looked like Jax was a dominant force.

Then me, and everyone else just about knew Buffalo was going to out-muscle us in every way. It didn't help with 3 missed tackles on Clay to start it off. Pathetic.

How does this team with so much talent look hapless and lost? The guy coaching the talent is why. I'm not rooting for us to lose to the jets. I don't have to, I just think we will.

I don't have a good feeling at all. but I will be tuning in at 6:30am to watch the **** show because I am a masochist Dolphin fan through and through
Yea at least the game is ridiculously early this week. I'm not feeling good about this game but I will wait and see. If it were up to me Philbin and crew would have been shown the door last off-season. How did we end up with this schmuck and not get Arians? Oh well... Next!
