With the loss of Buckhalter for the season we need to trade Morris or Gordon and get a pick. It doesn't matter which player, we just need more picks for next year. A 5th will get back the pick we gave up for Wright. Your thoughts.

There are other options out there for the Eagles, including Jonathan Wells of the Texans who now has D.Davis, V.Mornecy ahead of him (T.Hollings is there too). I don't think that the Eagles are going to have to give up a 5th rounder to get the power back they will be looking for. A 6th or 7th will likely do. I don't want to trade Morris, so if they would give a 6th for Gordon, I'd take it.

Yup tell the Eagles we are having a garage sale! Gordon Fumbles and Derrius Dropson, both for a 3rd rounder!!!!

Do they have any good OL men to Trade for?

If they do, we wouldn't get a good one who could help us. We're trading a 3rd sting (possibly a 4th string) RB so what do you expect to get back?

I would think a legit backup RB is worth more than a 6th or 7th rd pick in next year's draft. Your #2 RB WILL be getting carries during the year and is one hit away from being your starting RB on a team with SB aspirations. Gordon cost us a 3rd and I don't see why we would take less than a 5th for him. I wouldn't trade Morris for anything less than a 4th and possibly a 3rd. He is tough and can play FB as well. Good ST guy also. He will be #1 or #2 while Ricky is gone. The Eagles IMO would be making a HUGE mistake to go cheap on a backup RB - of course that would be just what Westbrook would be itching for - Is Drew his agent - can I smell a holdout brewing - Andy Reid better hope he doesn't talk to TO - although TO doesn't talk to anyone.

Sounds like they are just fine sitting where they are with Westbrook starting and the rookie Moats backing him up...

Who knows though...anything could happen...they might be interested.

Well, that's one way to do it, or the Eagles could just wait to see which one we cut ?? The only reason we'd keep both would be while RW is out, but after that...do we need both...wouldn't you rather have a potential (KJ Harris) rather than one who seems to have reached his potential ?? Morris is more likely to make the team, IMO...

They need a big back...

Moats is a midget who will start on special teams...
I expect them to sign Levens, but we will see...

On a serious note, I dont see Dorsey coming back. If I were the Dolphins I would offer them Morris and Thompson for a 3rd or Gordon and Thompson for a 4th.
