Calling ALL Tampa area fin fans

I'm back in Florida BABY!
I looked at the schedule for this Sunday's games and for some reason, we do get a 4:00pm CBS game but it is NOT the Dolphins and Chargers, but rather the Chiefs at the Cowboys. Why? Why in the world would they think the Tampa market would rather watch that game and the Dolphins? I have already sent an email to the programming director at the station.

it's community@tampabays10.com or you can call at 727-577-1010... and voice your displeasure ... if enough people call and they realize they'll get the good audience, then will will most likely switch the game.. I did this a couple of years ago and it worked.. so let's hope it does again..

I know those of you who will say, Hey, just go to a sports bar, but, I work on Sunday's and the only games I can get are those played on the local stations..
 
oh jeez....they showed the last 3 weeks of dolphins games. this isn't miami, so don't get upset about it

sorry didnt mean to shoot it down. i sent mine anyway. i hope some of you guys can help out the tampa fans if you have a second. here's my email:

hello, i noticed that you will be broadcasting the Chiefs @ Cowboys instead of the Dolphins @ Chargers.

in the past, i have recieved that answer that not everyone is a dolphins fans and other teams of local intrest are shown such as the Jets or Jaguars. However, both the Jets and Jaguars play at 1:00 pm., so there is no conflict there.

additionally, the buccaneers are playing at 1pm.

Chiefs @ Dallas hardly seems like a game of local interest. For the 4pm slot, the Dolphins are clearly the team of local interest. this seems like the perfect week to show the Dolphins.

I wish i lived closer to Miami. O well, ill go watch at my friends wit Direct TV or Winners.
 
I live in NJ and the late game here is also KC and Dallas. Usually the only time they show Dolphin games here is if we're playing the Jets or Giants.
 
I'm sorry to hear that guys and I hope they change the schedule for you. It is possible, a month or so ago CBS was scheduled to televise some bull**** game here in Tallahassee, and at the last moment they switched it to the Dolphins game so don't give up. :)

Also for those of you who live in north Florida or at least near Tally, the Dolphins game is indeed being shown here for the first time in a while. 8)
 
I dont live in the area but they dont know that and I forgot to mention where I live. ;) E-mail is on the way.
 
It's not up to the local affiliate. They'd love to show the Phins ever week.
