I understand that on paper we have the toughest sched next year.

However, if next year is anything like this year we shouldn't worry that much. Last year the "teams to beat" were Ind,Ne,SD,Dal,NO,Den, (with hou and jax as outside options). only 2 teams made the playoffs (only 1 convincingly)

Nobody put Tenn with best record, and pitt (best possible guess maybe) and Ari in the superbowl. Nobody though Bal with a rookie would be in the afc champ, and philly had no chance due to having dal and NYG in thier div.

Lets no forget about us being 4-12 bottom dwellers and Atl was about five years out of competitive to get over mike vick.

Its funny, but next year could be the easiest sched possible (not stretch) Car only has a running game..NO can't stop anyone on D, TB is under new coaching with Mcnown as thier new QB. IND is hit or miss (though i would lean towards hit) Jax is well, jax. HOU is a loss( like they always are, it must be a curse :()

IN the div. The bills kept their coach (+2 wins)

The jets are under new coaching, cap trouble and the brand new owners of the "What the F#$k am I going to do? retire or not?, oh well i'll wait until the start of camp to tell them" Favre. (+2)

NE is always competitive (i suspect cheating:d-day:) but Brady is a question mark, and if they keep Cassle they get nothing else, he eats up much of thier cap room and thier D is older than my grandfather (both LBs fought in WW2, true story:lol:) (+or- 1 win)

Don't fear the sched. I realilisticly can see us winning 11 to 12 games next year as long as we keep improving on our plan (parcells and Sparano won't let them slide)

I don't even think we need a 80 mill/yr fa to get that.

smart football, smart personell moves, and we are the team to beat in te afc (alright give the nod to pitt, but you can't be king of the hill without knocking off the top dude.)

Realisticly nobody knows how tough the schedule is really going to be until the games in question are played. I'm sure lots of people had us penciled in as sure wins this year.
