Calvin Ridley’s time in Atlanta could be coming to an end

If the price is right then trading for him is a no brainer. He's only has 1 year left on his deal and due to make $11 million. I doubt Atlanta will land a 1st rounder for him because of the circumstances. I'd trade a 2nd round pick for him. I'd possibly even throw in a 4th if we had to.

The biggest dilemma I see is what we would do after trading for Ridley. Do we pay him and lock him up with a contract extension? Or do we ride out the 1 year left on his contract since it's only $11 million. We would essentially let Fuller walk and just use that money on Ridleys last year.
Riding out Ridleys last year would allow Miami to remain flexible with cap space which we could use to sign a couple more big pieces to the offense like some linemen. Obviously we'd risk the possibility of losing him after 1 season but we'd be able to go ALL IN on the offensive side of the ball this season.

Adding Ridley, Armstead, and Tomlinson to our offense would make this off-season a phenomenal one!

Would love to have Calvin Ridley, wonder what’s going on with him..

This would be a waste. There is absolutely no reason to get a WR like him. We need WRs who are good for check downs. Only 5 yards and occasionally 10 yards max. Miami has the peewee football scheme

How clever.

If ATL is so ready to move on from their blue chip WR then there’s obvious red flags involved. More context is needed before anyone trades for the guy.

I like your thinking.

Only I personally would not want Ridley.

Take that 2nd draft Spiller at RB
1ST Draft Lindebaum

Then I would agree with you FA linemen.

If Devante Adam's magically survived the franchise tag HE is A must for me.

However, my preferences are a little different. But, I would be ecstatic with your scenario as well.

Ridley would need to be on an incentive type contract thought. Fuller has scared me too much lol

So why would we trade for a player that basically quit football this year? We already had a WR we paid $10m to do that. I'll pass on Ridley.

Armstead is a damned good LT...when he's on the field. He's never played a full season and he's missed 8 games already this season. I was high on him earlier until someone mentioned his injury history, now I don't want him.

Would love to sign Tomlinson, loved him coming out of college and he hasn't disappointed.

Brown is another one that has only played a couple of full seasons and has only played 8 this season.
