i dont read any of his transcripts for press conferences but has he mentioned or hinted which direction we might be going?? Or is it too early or is he being tight-lipped right now?
i know were all guessing here with our Mock drafts just wasnt sure if its been mentioned yet
 
I think Cam and Mueller is still gathering information on players and probably won't have a final board in place until just before the draft.

Too many players still have Pro Day/Individual workouts scheduled and many of them could improve their stock because of them. Similar to the way Reggie Nelson did at his Pro Day last week.
 
Well when he first came he said you build your offense from the middle out.

Center, QB, FB, RB

We have the FB and RB now with Ronnie and the signing of Schlesinger. We may have the QB in Daunte or Lemon.....maybe not though I don't know.

So I'd say we will take a guy who is at least a project at center at some point, and maybe a QB. Mueller said he likes speed so maybe another WR.

With our first pick I really have no clue....I'd actually rather just trade down if Quinn isn't there at #9 (which he wont be) and take a guy like Ryan Kalil while getting a couple more picks.

thanks you pretty much answered what i was "trying" to ask :lol:

Im really want to build the OL and im really liking Kalil in the 2nd just hope he lasts.

Quinn and Brown are who i want with the 1st.
Im thinking this draft should be mainly offensive sided.
 
Build from the center out means to me C, then guard, then tackle, then QB, RB, WR, TE, FB, etc. We only have 5 OL on the staff now, 6 counting the guy who's TC fodder, you can expect Randy & Cam to draft offense, most likely OL in the 2nd through 6th rounds, maybe WR in round 1, though I just feel its likely we trade down in 1st and take an OL or WR. Maybe Kalil or Meacham.

Its all just guessing on our parts, draft day is going to be fun! I would HOPE Randy & Cam are going to play things close to their vest, not let other teams know what we plan to do.

I also hope they get another pick for Mare. That's looking pretty good right now because there are 3-5 teams interested in Mare and if they wait till we cut him then Mare will cost them much more and they are less likely to get him. He is certainly worth a 6th, maybe even a 5th round pick if we play our cards right.

He didn't say build from the center out actually that was a mess up on my part if I said that.

He said build from the middle out and went on to explain that meant center, QB, FB, RB.

really? wow i didnt know that. i was assuming teams would just wait for us to cut him.

And yes i agree i cant wait for the Draft. :drool:

either way it totally makes sense the Lines OL/DL are very important

damn i just realized SD picked OL(O'Neil? mind went blank) who was awesome last year
