I realize my opinion doesn't matter, but after watching the Charger meltdown today against the Pats, Cam Cameron's stock took a major hit IMO. I realize the Charger's didn't lose today because of Cameron, but the lack of LT's involvement in the second half certainly didn't help the Charger's cause.
In the most important game of the year for the Charger's, Cameron put the game in the hands of Philip Rivers and receivers who were struggling to hang on to the ball. The LT/Turner running game had been effective all day, and yet Cameron seemed to forget the NFL MVP when he was needed most. This wasn't Marty's call, it was Cameron's. I realize LT took the bench for a few plays with an "injury", but he came back afterwords and still performed well. Who makes a sophomore QB try to win a game against the Patriots when they have one of the best players ever at the RB position? There is no solid justification for this, IMO.
I'm not sure I want any OC to take the Miami HC job who "forgets" about the NFL's MVP in crunch time.
