Jeff Darlington, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron will also serve as the team's offensive play-caller. Although Cameron is expected to hire an offensive coordinator, that person likely will have limited control over game-day situations.

Cant see Mularkey staying on in a lesser role though the TE coach spot is open, especially as Mike Shula is rumoured to be getting an offensive coaching role.
 
Good news, Markuarkey sucks and CC has experience at calling plays.
 
Mike Shula had one of the most pathetic offenses in Tampa Bay when he was coordinator. I sure hope he hires someone else.

Let's hope that means Malarkey (Noun: Something that does not have or make sense) is done.
 
aslong as Cam is calling his plays I am ok with that. I have a feeling the OC will oversee pretty much everything else and the play calling will be strictly Cam's baby.
 
This is what I would like to see. If Mularkey stays on, have him as the TE's coach. Then promote Jason Garrett to the OC position and hire Mike Shula as the QB's coach. I wouldn't mind seeing that. That way Jason Garrett can learn under Cam Cameron about play calling.
 
I hope we give Garrett the OC position too. Shula's offense was horrible in Tampa Bay. Now of course, that's cause Dungy, ANOTHER DEFENSIVE COACH, has his OC call plays not to lose, but, I just don't feel comfy with Mike as OC. I know Cam will be calling the plays, but Mike as QB Coach and Jason as OC would be a better deal I think.

Today is judgement day for Mularkey as Cameron is going to meet with him.

Don't be surprised to see Mularkey demoted to tight ends coach(if he is OK with it), Garrett promoted to OC and Mike Shula signed on as the QB coach.
 
Great news as far as cam but i dont think sh-ula boy is gonna be much better tho to me i think cameron should bring in his guys he is familar with and have expeience calling his type of offense.
 
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more Mularkey. This made my day...:lol:... now the colts have to bet the patsies :lol:
