He's so damn underrated. So humble. Such a role model. If he whined like other players he'd get 2x the holding penalties.

C'mon people, how does this thread only have 1 reply? A feature on our best player, one of the best in the league, covering his humility and leadership qualities and yet there are about 10 Ireland/Philbin/Sherman must go threads.
 
Agreed. I love watching him play. Great feeling to know that in those big defensive stands, we have someone who can be a playmaker
 
Wake is such a beast, been my favorite player since JT and Ricky retired. It's just a shame he's 31, not old by any means, but probably only has 2, 3, hopefully 4 good seasons left in him lol. Either way he is an awesome success story, he never gave up on his dream and never gives up on the field either. Easily one of the best defensive players in the game too and just seems like an all around good guy, I'm sure even if he didn't make it to the NFL he would be succeeding in whatever path he took

Actually there is a thread about Wake on the front page, but it's more about how he's overrated and underperforming. To be fair, not everyone agreed with the OP in that thread. ;)
