Camarillo opposite Ginn? | FinHeaven - Miami Dolphins Forums

Camarillo opposite Ginn?

works for me.
add on to that an improved Pennington & serious running game behind a killer offensive line, a year's experience with the new offense & what you have my friend is a step-up in the WR stable.

What did you expect? We haven't acquired our starter opposite Ginn yet so by default Camarillo would be the starter. If anything this is good news because it means Camarillo is expected to contribute this year.

Were you expecting Bess to be the starter?

Bess is a slot WR.

Camarillo will go from #2 to #4 just as soon as whoever we draft this year is ready to contribute... 2010 maybe? I'm sure that even Camarillo knows this.

Assuming we draft a receiver in the 1st or 2nd round this year, I think Bess or Cam might be traded. I'm not sure which I'd want to trade as I like them both a lot, but they're sort of similar - clutch guys with great hands, excellent in the slot.

Even if draft a WR on the first day, you keep both Camarillo and Bess. Bess is going to be one of the best slot receivers in the game and Camarillo can play both inside and outside receiver.

Why would you trade them... The fins are paying them practically nothing.. People make no sense some time.

Parcells and co. is all about Depth. Why would you trade your depth away.

I respectfully disagree. Just because we draft a rookie WR will not mean one of them will get traded. gin, rookie wr, cam and bess would be the top 4 wrs on the team. we dont exactly have a plethora of wrs to go and trade bess or cam. And to add I dont see anyone trading for cam (coming back from injury) and bess (undrafted last year). dont get me wrong love those guys but just dont see it.

Who says London, Wilford, Bess, Ginn, and Greg can't explode this year? None of them have spent very long in our 1 year old system or even been in the league long enough to label IMO. WR's usualy take 3 years to reach their potential and last I checked Ginn is going into his 3rd, Bess his 2nd, and Wilford, London, and Camarillo are just getting their opportunities with us.

Cam is another over achieving player and that makes up for lack of ability, WELKER. What cam does next season will determine his status in the starting lineup (duh). I personally like Cam and think he can be a very good football player and will be involved with the dolphins Offense either as a number 2,3,4 guy for the next 5 years.

I'm sure everyone would love to see Wilford live up to that contract...I, for one, would like it. Wilford is a big guy and would be ideal in the red zone, but something set him back last year. Hopefully he turns it around this year and starts earning that money.

Wilford did suck big time last year (obviously cause he barely played), Hopefully he gets his **** together cause he has a lot of potential, if only we can fuse wilford to Cam...hmmmm..

Thats just it. Everyone around here was saying he would be the first to go but our FO obviously knows more than us. I am sure we only dressed 3 WR's for a reason in our playoff game. I say he had a injury that was kept silent. Thats just my guess though.
