Anybody watching Monday night football? Johnny Knox just got smashed after he went down untouched a Viking defender dived on him. He had to be carted off.

The announcers were actually defending the hit explaining why it wasn't illegal because Knox was untouched, and was still eligible to get up and run. *Remembers the Camarillo play that cost us the game, the play in which the head of officials later defended and fined our player for. This hit was way worse, and it was in crucial stages of the game and still no flag. This is the NFL today ladies and gents.

Didn't see the MNF play but it seems there is a lot of unbelievable calls this year. That Camarillo call was absolutely horrible and 100% wrong.

You're exactly right. Camarillo didn't hit the guy anywhere near as hard as the guy who smacked Johnny Knox when he was on the ground. If a guy hasn't been touched by a defender and he lays on the ground he has to expect to get hit. We probably lost at least two games this year over crap calls.....just like yesterday with the trip call on Polite and the whistle which cost us a fumble after we stripped the ball from the receiver.

I thought the NFL was focused on protecting the players but they miss this one? Lord Favre and the darling Vikings right now, you know the one that fans voted for 11 Pro Bowlers. Guaranteed ratings with Lord Favre and the more the better.

No, just a missed call. Officials are human. Nothing to it all. Move along people. Enjoy the playoffs.

I was actually surprised that there wasn't some kind of call on the Peterson fumble to let the Vikings keep the ball. Everything was set up for Lord Favre to lead a Vikings comback to homefield advantage. Only now, it is a more compelling story for the Favre legend and better ratings. Now with his past struggles in the playoffs and in domes, he will have to go into New Orleans to get his Vikings to the Super Bowl. It will be even more impressive because of the struggles of Adrian Peterson and Favre's late season struggles. Favre versus Brees for the Super Bowl, imagine it now. Sit back and watch how the story unfolds.

Games aren't fixed but they are steered toward the NFL's desired storyline.

So is wrestling, the Montreal screw job wasn't fixed, it was just steered towards Vince McMahon's desired story line.

i have been saying that since the patsies went from perrenial sh** to the luckiest team ever assembled after 9/11... hmmmm feeling patriotic anyone?

eh, the entire league is becoming a disgrace and it is all starting with Goddell.. He [may] think he is making the game better, but he is ruining it.. draining the integrity of the game right out of everything it stands for and before he knows it, he would have drained all that was left and leaving behind nothing but a dried up corpse of what the NFL once stood for.. and at that same time, everyone who used to be NFL fans would have gotten sick of everything and converted to Hockey, or something.. He is ruining the league

**** I'm gonna start watching UFC and WWE and TNA if he keeps showing us fans it's clearly rigged. Why not watch something that we ALL know is rigged in WWE and TNA then I'll get my real sports fix with some good UFC fights, mix a little boxing and other MMAs in there and I could just say goodbye to the NFL until he is replaced as commissioner because he sucks dick!
