I know we don't really throw that much to any of our WR's. But why aren't we getting CAM more involved in our offense? He doesn't drop a pass and has the potential to follow in "Welker's" footsteps. Just my opinion...

Man, I couldn't agree more. WE should have ran more slant patterns and screen plays... we ran the screen with Ricky and picked up like 30yrds.

exactly then didn't go back to it. i also love how even in 3rd and long we come out in i formation and do play action. why not spread the field?

I also agree after last year i thought we finally found our poor mans version of welker. Was excited to see what he could do this year but it seems like we just dont use him like we did last year. Is the knee still effecting him? Doesn't seem like it to me

I get what you're saying, I really REALLY do but, firstly, Cam is not as quick as Welker (we have bess) and secondly, did you forget he is coming off an ACL injury? Maybe they don't want him shifting so much yet... I don't know, but it's possible he's not 100% yet.

Simple. The playcalling has been average at best this year. How do you not run more screens and slants with the defense blitzing everyone. I've yet to understand it.

it's because we don't have randy moss to keep the D back......you can't have a D stack the box and man up on receivers who can't get behind them and expect them to make a bunch of catches...

exactly... camarillo simply isn't good enough to beat good corners like the Jets have. They stacked the box vs us, shut down our run, and shut down our receivers with 1on1 coverage. Besides one drive, our offense did absolutely nothing all game long. (I will give some credit to the Jets because hell, they were the only team this entire year to stop the Saints insane offense. They must be doing something right)

Our receivers as a group are one of the worst in the league in my opinion, and it is definitely one of our biggest areas of need.

I agree man, Bess is quick but not fast enough to make something huge out of a screen. I'd LOVE to see Ronnie get more involved with the screen and passing game. BTW how's that new whip treatin you oh greatness?

I agree our Play calling has been bad at times but what can you do when you have no balance of speed and possession wr's on the roster.......we need a legit route runner with hands....a guy like Ochocinco would be perfect.

we could move Ginn to #2-4, and KR duties permanently and have hartline/Bess/cam/Ginn rotate from 2/3/4....

teams would have to respect that and not stack as many people so close to the LOS as they do now because we would open up more things...

Less stacking = better running lanes and less pressure on the QB

it's our fault for not hitting on a big time receiver......now I'm not saying we can't get it done without one but it won't be easy...

haha yea man but id rather give ricky the screens his faster then ronnie but DUDE the whip is nasty bro i was flyin down the highway and it felt like 80 mph haha i got 850 miles on the beast and still get excited to drive it everyday lol

Hence the reason for Slant patterns. You don't get behind the D backs cause your not going deep, you're cutting in front and using you body to shield the defenders from picking it off.
