Schooled by a ****ing 7th rounder pothead.

Embarassing.

Yeah they did double him sometimes. When he did beat the rookie EJ got rid of the ball. Something Tanny refuses to do.

Quick passes and runs. Awfully hard to get to a QB when he's unloading the ball in 3 seconds or less. Wake being quiet had a lot more to do with the Bills conservative gameplan than Seantrel Henderson controlling him.

Wake was invisible. If the Bills could take Wake out of the game, why can't our coaches take Mario Williams or Kyle Williams out of the game?

ive said this before and caught crap about it. Wake can be a dominant player but excells only when his teamates are helping hin get one on one matchups where he can be the mike wallace of d ends and rush the passes only. He can take games over himself but inexplicably disappears for weeks on end. Dominant players find a way to impact a game regardless of the game plan. Wake is a very good player. Not a great one.

Because our offense isn't built like the Bills. The Dolphins could run a lot of similar things -- honestly, I was waiting for a fake on the jet sweep in the read option and a boot pass for RT going the other way, but it never happened -- but that's not what the Dolphins are about. They Dolphins are more about longer developing pass plays and not exposing RT to as much contact as a runner as the Bills are willing to do with Manuel.

Honestly, I think Wake and the Dolphin pass rush did impact this game. The Bills didn't beat the Dolphins with their offense. They didn't take shots down the field. They mounted one really good drive. They weren't going to have Manuel sit back in the pocket for 5 seconds because he would have gotten killed. The Bills game-planned well, but the defense and the Dolphins pass rushers were a big part in how they game-planned. The Bills had to make adjustments, and their offense didn't beat the Dolphins.

And on the flip side, that just tells me that the Dolphins coaches didn't game-plan well.

I definitely think the Dolphins were outcoached, but I don't think it showed up nearly as much on the defensive side. The Bills staff was so mindful of the Dolphin pass rushers that they played offense with a hand tied behind their back. Unfortunately, the Dolphins decided to play offense and special teams with both hands tied behind theirs.

Not defending him..But the Bills QB didn't hold on to the ball at all.

Wake disappears far too often for me to put him in the category of a guy like Jason Taylor. He piles it on in one game and then is invisible for the next three.

You mean to say that the QB holding on to the ball or not can influence the other team's pass rush? Someone should get this information to Tannehill and the offensive staff immediately, not to mention inform most of the posters on here.

Wake beat him several times, quickly too, however by the time he was near EJ the ball was gone. Bills had a game plan and ran it to perfection.

Funny how easy it is to throw down on Wake but you sure enough are going to bat for the real issue on this team.

You guys talked big about your rookies on the Miami o-line but Henderson was great today for the Bills.
You put a rookie against Mario and we put one against Wake?
