Where do I begin. I have a great report for you guys tonight.

-On the o-line. Stockar has been replaced in the 1st team at RT by McIntosh. I can't understand why. Stockar has looked solid and McIntosh has struggled. Maybe it was a one night thing to see how Stockar responds tomorrow, they may just be testing him and attempting to light a fire under his ***. We'll see tomorrow. RG Hadnot was pretty good, not as good as he's been though. One thing I loved was when they were doing one on ones DT #95 Josh Shaw got the better of Hadnot two straight times and after the 2nd play Houck pulled Hadnot over and spoke to him and then had him go up against Shaw a 3rd time, and this time not only did Hadnot get the better of Shaw, he freaken buried his *** into the ground. At LT Carey got beat bad by JT on one play but for the most part tonight held his own once again. McKinney stunk up the joint again. I've decided that he just sucks. Vickerson busted him up real bad one time, more on that later. Since McIntosh became 1st team RT, Alibi was promoted to 2nd team LT and boy did he play his *** off tonight. He did damn well and effectively dominated Roth every time they locked up. He and Roth got into a fight too.

-On the d-line Carter and JT were very good out there. Carter seems to take it easy in practice but when he turns it up a notch you notice. They went to full 11 v 11's and Carter had a nice INT off a tipped pass that he ran back. Fast guy for 290. Kevin Vickerson made some impact tonight and caught my eye. He blew up a couple plays. Listen to this, after practice I went to get Kevin's auto and I said "How's Manny's back doing?" He reponded "Oh, he's a cry baby." LOL!

-CB's: For most of the night Daniels and Madison were 1st team then during the final 11 v 11's Reggie Howard took Daniels spot. I asked Daniels after practice while he was signing why Howard was in his spot out there and he told me to ask Saban.

-At WR Boston made a nice long catch and Newson dropped an easy one in the endzone. Boston, Chambers, and Booker is a hell of a trio.

-At QB I would maybe give the slight edge to Feely, neither one stood out and distinguished himself as the #1 guy.

-Ricky looks good. I'm telling you, he hasn't missed a beat. It's like he was never gone. He's fast, powerful, strong. Minor also had a couple nice runs.

-This was the best practice so far, lots of action, full 11 v 11's. We'll find out tomorrow if those 1st team changes stick.

Great report, Glad things are going good. Wish I was down there to see all the action, but will have to settle for all the reports you guys do that go.

Thanks for the report. I doubt coach was trying to light a match under McDougle...he's been performing well by all acounts. It's probably more likely that he wanted to give McIntosh a shot with the 1st team to see how he'd respond.

Nice read man.

I am guessing that Houck wanted to see how D-Mac would do at RT.

I don't agree with putting Howard over Daniels but good post and it's nice that you can talk to the player like that. Vickerson must have gottin the message that he has to play hard after dissapointting in mini camp

WTF???

That's the only thing I can't understand about this report. Everything else looks good.

Thanks, by the way.

They will rotate guys around on the OL a bit. I'm surprised they haven't been doing it more. I'm thinking right now they want McIntosh as the swing tackle since Carey is looking solid. However if Alabi plays well enough McIntosh might be the odd man out on that line.

OK, since McIntosh was in, did he do a good job?, Even though McKinney is getting beat is Wade doing anything behind him. Thanks in advance and thanks for the report.
