It be nice if Campbell wore his headset as if he was actually talking into it and didn't constantly have the microphone part bent all the way down.

The headset thing doesn't really matter but he made his first major mistake tonight by defering to the second half instead of taking the football first on offense.

It matters to me because when his headset isn't on his head properly and he doesn't have the microphone ready to talk, it gives the impression that he isn't in constant talks with the other coaches. That others are really dictating what happens out there.

I get the part about setting the tone, but good coaches always defer. Most of the time, it's like getting an extra possession.

OH dear Lord!! Did you really just start another depression thread....about where the coach wears his microphone? What's next, "we lost bc Landry didn't double knot his cleats so they were loose"

The game sucked, we got exposed.....life goes on.

This is what your mad about after last night?

Here are some better topics to bitch about:
No running game, Short weeks are a NFL scam, Qb was bad, play calling was bad, players got injures, Pats may go 16-0, Jason Fox will be playing.

Yes, usually but this isn't "usual". The Fins have started fast the past 2 weeks, especially on offense. The offense should have had the ball first, IMO getting off to a fast start is more important to this particular Fins team than getting an extra possession.

I am on the Campbell bandwagon and I am not getting off because we were outclassed by a better team. The Fins are still lacking talent at oline, and LB, and CB.
The Pats are the world champs. The reality is that they are much better than us, and we are still searching for players.
This team can still make the playoffs with some luck and determination..
The next 2 drafts will determine what kind of team we are 3-5 years out. We are no winning anything until the talent level is better and this team can dominantly run/stop the run.
It is that simple.

Campbell probably thought that our defense would set he tone of the game. It was his call. Whether we deferred or not, we were getting smoked last night.
It didn't matter.

Belichick always defers, so you are saying that giving Belichick what he wanted by taking the ball first would have been the smart choice?

BB always defers as he likes to try to end the half w the ball and get it to start 3rd Q to keep u out of rhythm. That's why Campbell deferred - to get Bill away from how he likes it. It was smart.

Go tell him you don't like the way he wears his headset, and what you are going to do about it.
