I know this is a stupid question, but just bear with me please. I haven't watched much charger ball. What offence system did cameron use last couple of years at san deigo and how much will it change if any here in miami? what formations and back sets did he use? What kind of balance pass to run ect. I'm trying to get a idea of what to expect.

well he made the best out of the weapons he had. he runs heavily. LT always had over 300 carries so expect ronnie to get the ball 20-25 times a game.. He also utilizes his tight end a lot; Martin could surprise.

Ladanian Tomlinson threw a couple touchdowns a year and Marty Booker has recently been seen running reverses and then throwin to chambers in the endzone. You will see some trick play passes.

He establishes the run and has a very accurate passing game. Quarterbacks that have run this offense have been Trent Green, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers etc. All very accurate passers.

In San Diego he never had great receivers but had LT and Antonio Gates. His first year there he had a crappy oline that turned around in 2-3 years to tops in the league. All we know is hes great with the weapons he has. Ronnie Brown will become a great runningback, our oline will improve, ted ginn and lorenzo booker will be quick weapons on reverses and screen plays, and booker/hagan/chambers should be decent to complement ronnie brown.

hope that helps

probably 60-40 running to passing. with the passing plays 8-12 yard quick accurate passes

He (Cam) Runs an offshoot of the "Air coryell" system (Turner/Saunders/Martz also run it) he Likes I formation and uses the FB a lot more than most systems..He seems to like to run the ball and mix up passing plays to the FB TE a lot..Today one of the TEs mention they are the #1 read on a lot of plays..Its a timing offense in that the Qb throws to a "spot" and expects the reciever to be there.

Here's a place to start as far as the system Cam used with the Chargers. It's pretty much based on Air Coryell, but the coaches tweak it in different ways. So, it's pretty much an "Air Cameron" system or "West Coast/Indiana Cam" system or the "DOHC ... Double Overhead Cam" supercharged system. Just kidding. Talking about offensive systems is pretty complicated as far I am concerned. I'm sure Cam will tweak his Chargers system somewhat and try to tailor it around the talent we have on the team this year.

Cam Cameron mentioned during his press conference that he only called run plays 40% of the time in 2006, but the Chargers were second-best in the league in rushing totals. This was initially confusing because, on the outset, it looked as if the Chargers had passed the ball 466 times and ran the ball 522 times.
