First off, I have no link because I heard it from a friend but......
Can anyone confirm that NBC hired Matt Vasgersian (sp) to be the Sunday night play-by-play guy. Someone told me that tonight, but I can't find confirmation anywhere.
IF it's true, it is a very odd choice. But if I remember correctly, he was part of the XFL play-by-play crew for NBC, so there is a connection.
Anyone have any more info on this?

It's been almost a full day since I heard this and have not found confirmation anywhere, so I will assume it is false.
It didn't make that much sense to me anyway.
