...........I was in Las Vegas for a bachelor party so I wasn't able to see any of the game. Can anyone give me a breakdown of the DT's?

Fred Evans looks like a keeper he made 2 outstanding plays sack and tackle behind the LOS. Saban gave him some positive remarks after the game.

Overall, the Dline was very good. I don't recall many long runs by the Jaguars. Traylor and Holliday did not play much, but they were solid. In terms of some of the other guys, Fred Evans really stood out. He had a sack and a tackle for a loss. I also was impressed with Vickerson, who I thought looked bigger than last year. Hope this helps.

Evans looks like the Nose Tackle of the Future. Vickerson had a quiet but most 3-4 DEs play that way. If you have not seen Roth lately he looks alought bigger, but he has not lost a step. Veterans played really good.

I spent some time concentrating on Roth, and most of the time he was getting great push. I certainly saw improvement in his pass rushing ability.

Fred Evans stood out over all the DT's pretty much

I think if Fred can improve with time he will be our future at NT.

As for now I think "MANNY THE MEMORY" will be just that, watching

a very impressive Fred Evans play as f he was a seasoned vet!!

This guy may just be an incredible find for the Dolphins...only time
will tell!!!

1st team-
DE- Kevin Carter
NT- Keith Traylor
DT- Vonnie Holliday
OE/OLB- David Bowens

The first three played about two series. Traylor had a nice tackle in the backfield on an outside run where he easily beat the Center on a 1v1 block. Nickel package was Bowens/Traylor/Carter/Roth. Constant pressure, Leftwich was getting hit basically every play, but there was a fair amount of blitzing.

2nd team-
DE- Matt Roth
NT- Fred Evans
DT- Jeff Zgonina(Replaced with Kevin Vickerson after 1 series, later rotated into NT at the goal line)
OE/OLB- David Bowens

Roth looked good. He didnt get any sacks but he had his man on his heels and driving back constantly. Evans looked good, but got out of position on one play for a long run. Vickerson looked "eh".
