Jordan had a HORRIBLE rookie season. He looked like he should have been drafted in the 3rd round or later. I dont think he has the "it" factor. Really, all he has is speed. He's the Ted Ginn of DEs. I know a lot of you are going to say he was injured but if you suit up, you better give it your all. No excuses. If Miami really has an opportunity to trade him they should pull the trigger. The entire draft class was horrible actually. Besides Sturgis, no one really contributed. Now that ive stated my opinion, I hope I'm wrong about Jordan. But my eyes dont lie.

I guess if you want to ignore the explosiveness he showed when rushing the passer, or how well he covered tight ends, then yeah, terrible. :rolleyes2:

He looked good to me in limited snaps.. Not great but good..
He directly caused 2 TO's by getting the qb's arms.
He looked better in space than I thought and you cannot leave the kid unblocked while running the other way he showed he can track down the RB.

didn't he cause the game sealing INT against the Falcons?

Also got flacco on Jones Td right?

When he played he looked good

Why are people on this froum so keen to get at our rookies all the time?

Philbin comes from a coaching tree that doesn't necessarily start rookies. Our '13 draft class could be good, average, or horrible but it will be atleast another year, probably two, until we can place a proper grade. Sturgis was the exception and besides saving some money from not paying Carpenter, it wasn't a good call.

I noticed him doing something good whenever he was on the field. He got pressure on the qb and did a good job covering TEs

I saw someone who struggled early and favored his shoulder. I also saw some amazing potential later in the year. Lets hope he gets the shoulder right and is given an opportunity to play.

Kind of hard to get on the field when you have two other DE's playing at pro bowl levels...I'm sure no one would have expected Vernon to have the type of year he had.

He looked good on a few plays but I definitely need to see more. I wouldn't say he had a horrible year but I also can't say he looked great at times. We can't afford to give up on him and you're going to get flamed. Maybe you missed the posts yesterday stating how he'll be better than Clowney even though Clowney had a superior college career by a long shot. I pray that Clowney goes 1 or 2

I wouldn't say he looked great, at times he showed flashes of being a good player. I also would NOT say he looked horrible!

Wtf are you talking about. He helped win the Atlantic game and played well for an injures rookie. You are blind if you can't see the explained and potential
