Seeing how Curtis Martin got damn near 200...and they both have very similar styles, I fully expect Gordon to get over 100...but ONLY if he gets 24 carries!

What do you guys think?
Bengal fans...weigh in on this too.
 
I think that would have to be a main goal for us in this game. They were exposed last week and we should test them again and again until they prove they can stop the run.


100 yds or more would definately help out AJ.
 
Bengal's D and shut down the run only belong together if there is a "can not" in between them. If they bring 8 or 9, AJ had better make them pay!

No, Lamar is a lot more shifty than Ricky. He doesn't need to get the motor at full speed to be effective.....I think.

Against the Bengals? I don't think so. They are weak in the tackling dept. I think Gordon should be able to break a few.

I'd guess that he averages 4.4 ypc or better.
 
Just a general complaint here, but why is it that almost every poll on this site looks something like this:

"How do you think the Phins will end up?
a. their success will be so glorious that valkyries will immortalize them in song.
b. their failure will be so miserable that the entire team should commit ritual suicide."

Isn't there, you know, a middle ground? I don't think Gordon will run for 100, but neither do I think the Bengirls will shut him down. I look for a 25 carry, 90 yard kind of night.

And by the way, I apologize if it sounds like I'm picking on Superself here. :)
 
Im hoping Lamar gets at least 100 because ive got him starting over Rudi Johnson(for obvious reasons), Chris Brown, and Thomas Jones on my FF team this week.
 
Well, if Dave does what he wants to do and runs the ball every play, Gordon will get the carries necessary to have a 100 yard game.
 
With the Fins O-line he will be lucky to get 40 yards. This game will be over early in the third quarter.
 
Gordon will get plenty of carries. Cincys o-line is banged up right now so I expect him to get 120 rushing 1td 7 rec 55 yards. Thats just my optimistic opinion. I'm concerned with how well Eastlick can fill in for Konrad. If he has a decent game then Gordon should be alright.
 
If martin can rack up 200 yards against them, any RB can get 100.
