Can Miami get both Patrick Ramsey and Drew Brees?

I would really love for miami to get Drew Brees!

It would be Miami's biggest sign ever!

it would probably be the biggest sign in the NFL!

anyways.....what do yall think the chances are for Miami to sign Drew Brees and then trade a late round pick to the Skins for Patrick Ramsey?

I really dont mind Ramsey but I would much rather see Miami sign Drew Brees.
 
I wouldn't want to waste a late round pick on someone when we need more filled holes. Ramsey is ok, but I would draft someone to groom instead later.
 
If we signed one, the other wouldn't want to come because they both want to be assured of starting.
 
which QB do yall think Miami will end up with?
 
Tommy Maddox seems like a believable back up. And then we could have a rookie come in. Realistically, we may have 4 QB's on our roster with Lemon and Berlin battling for the last spot.
 
Why would we want both?? :confused:

so yall think Miami wont get Drew Brees?
 
if we get brees, i DO NOT want to draft a qb. brees is young. yes we should groom someone behind him, but not for a few years. drafting a qb after picking up brees would waste 5-6 years of the rookies career.
 
It's going to be either one or the other. Both are looking for starting spots. Saban is not going to pull a Wanny special by switching off the starting QB game to game.
 
If gus has gone then we need a vet QB for sure. We dont need 2 and sure as hell could not afford 2. Brees or Ramsey would be good, but let us not forget Ramsey may cost us a draft pick, even if his contract was of lower cost. if the O and D lines were solid imo it would not matter who was in control, we could still win

Exactly. Even if we don't mind losing the all important draft pick and absorb the extra salary in a cap-strapped year. The QB's would feel betrayed as the only way to get especially Brees here is because he knows he starts.

And I feel a little bit scared about 3rd stringer. Maybe we could get Dante Culpepper also. Then we will need someone to snap them the ball. What about Mcwae, and Bentley as his backup. Yeah thats the ticket.:shakeno:

I doubt thats an option even worth considering.
 
If we let Gus go then we should be about 12 to 13 million under the new cap...we should be able to get Brees, Mawae and Adams....also, we can probably get Ashworth and maybe even Givens if we work the deals just right...imagine with those guys we could go defence at least 3 of our top 4 picks on draft day.....I'm so happy it got done.
