Well, weve got an arm in the backfield...can we pass protect? If Green takes hits early and often we will see Lemon taking snaps with Green on IR.

I worry about Green taking sacks with our L Tackle situation and new TE...can he pass block and help our LT?

Grave concerns...Cam will have to protect Green with play calling.

Could be Marty ball for a while.

I like that we have alot of candidates(except for LT) and a great OL coach

last year all we had was injuries

I am not that worried about LT. Its LG that I am worried about. That, and I am cautious of Shelton at RT.

I'm with ya on that one Nasty. We need to solidify that RT and LG spot.

Pete Kendall would just be amazing to bring in. I do have confidence in our line at this point though and we have a guy that is a mold of what Hudson Houck wants in Samson Satele. The spots you're concerned about would be Lewienski and Shelton correct? Shelton will be fine, it's Lewienski, or whoever will man the LG spot, that worries me. I salivate at the idea of bringing in Kendall. How about Culpepper for Kendall straight up?

What position does Tala Esera play??

answer : no! Im going out on a limb and saying... lemon will be our starter by the 4th game, and beck by our 8th game :err:

Maybe backup for LT?

I think that responsibility belongs to Anthony Alabai. Look for Ersa to be the backup RT if he makes the squad. Start him there and see how he handles it before throwing him to the lions at LT. Besides, I'm hoping our LT spot is solidified for years to come.

Esara was defintely a tackle at Hawaii but he can play gaurd.

He is our great hope.

Satele is going to be money without a doubt. The only thing that could stop Samson would be a plane crash.

The competition for that last spot on the line between Parker,Mormino,Ingram,Toledo,Esara,Liewenski is going to be extremely intense.

I just hope our young guys are tough enough to beat out Liewenski.

As far as Carey at LT, he will do great. I watched him against Ogunleye in the Chicago game last year over and over again.

As far as pass rushing DE's Adawale Ogunleye is right up there and Carey held his ground against him very well in the Chicago game. Ogunleye literally beat the bleep out of Vernon with shots to the head but Carey hung in there and did not give up a sack and only allowed a couple hurries.

It's way too early to be talking about improvement in the OL, they haven't even put on pads...The potential is there but we haven't seen any of it yet...lets talk during TC about whether or not Green will have headaches come September.

I think our only rookie that has a shot of being a tackle is Julius Wilson, although that is a long shot and a project. Hopefully it works out better than Alabi has appeared to.
