I thought he would be a big part of our passing attack when we signed him - he doesn't seem hurt? whats the insider news?

doesn't know the playbook - just not playing well?

8 million against cap next year with 7 million in dead money

He's a good player. He got hurt early and when Miami signed him they had not acquired Hill. This has more to do with how familiar and effective Trent Sherfield has been in the offense. He took the third receiver job. There aren't a lot of 4-receiver sets so playing time will suffer. Now that he's healthy, I would expect him to get some more reps and make plays in the second half of the year. It's a tough cap hit but should a starting receiver go down, we'll be happy he can be a legit good NFL receiver.

TY ..... def a tough cap hit and realizing gesicki is gone next year, we could have benefited from him playing up to his contract...

Wilson's highlight reel showed a pretty brilliant talent able to make plays on almost every route. Injuries can happen on any play and if we need a WR1 or WR2 due to injury, Wilson will look like a godsend.

In the first half Sunday, I must have started an angry post 3 different times but I was like..."nope, I will Not talk **** today until after the dust settles!"
SO GLAD I pulled all punches. I was fuming mad a few times in the first half.
No starting game day threads and no bitching during the game. Im trying to be a less shitty finheaven poster.

Wilson will be gone next year.

The Hill trade and Gesicki made him kinda pointless.

Sherfeld has been more impact full even with Wilson's injury.

Kinda feel bad for him. But situations made him an after thought IMO

This. Plus, with Hill and Waddle playing extremely well how can anyone fault Miami for targeting those two often. Doesn't leave much room for the third and fourth WRs.

Your 3rd and 4th WR can become your WR2 or WR3 in a hurry in this league. Wilson is a WR2, IMO...but not on the Dolphins.

I've heard rumblings of playbook issues. Same with EZ E.
Sherfield's familiarity with the playbook gives him a distinct advantage. WIlson is a good receiver, just hasn't been involved much. If waddle or Hill are open, they're getting the ball, as it should be. Feed the beasts...
